“In a fearful and confused world, we need sons & daughters who are bold as lions. In a world filled with followers, we need more leaders. What an honor it is to raise up the next generation of world changers at LLA. Legacy Leadership Academy was founded out of an overwhelming understanding that legacy is our responsibility. Our children are our most precious gifts, and we wanted to create a place where those gifts would be cared for, cultivated, and challenged. The heart of LLA is to produce young leaders who excel academically, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. We will prepare our children for not only their next grade, but also for a life centered around Jesus. Our leadership team and staff are so excited to partner with parents to develop and deliver the next generation of leaders at Legacy Leadership Academy.”

The story of Hope City

The story of Hope City is unique and powerful, something only God could author. Hope City was started in 2016 but we have roots in the city of Racine that trace all the way back to the 1930's. Through the years and through different names and buildings, there has always been a group of people who were committed to sharing the good news of Jesus to the awesome city of Racine. Today, hundreds call Hope City their church home, and we are excited about all that God has done and will continue to do through Hope City in Racine, WI!

Who we are

Legacy Leadership Academy is a housed vision of Hope City Church. This dream of a Christian school was birthed through Pastors Tylre & Gina Butler and the Hope City Executive Team. Our desire is for LLA be a place to train up future leaders of our city and nation. We believe that children are not the next generation, but the NOW generation. Our job is to protect, guide, equip, and encourage the students to fulfill their God-given potential.
